I've been a .net dev/architect for 10+ years, however, over the past say year and half a lot of my time have been spent setting up the CI process for several clients, so I've been working with - TeamCity/Octopus/AWS/ Azure, Selenium. I saw a job spec tonight for a DevOps position and I've got experience for all the skills they're looking for, however, I've never really considered myself as a Windows dev kinda guy.

If you were looking to hire someone for a DevOps contract role, would you consider me, with someone from a .net development background, compared to a traditional infrastructure background?
