Recently, my Visual Studio instances went a bit crazy and prevented me from running the unit tests within my solution. When I looked at the Visual Studio Test Explorer, I was presented with this message:
Build your solution to discover all available tests
To fix the issue, close all instances of Visual Studio down. Using task explorer to kill the process usually works best. Then open a command window and use this command:
Reopen Visual Studio and your tests should now appear!
